Who Are We?
At TV Furniture Direct, we are committed building and maintaining the trust and confidence of all visitors to our website and all customers who have purchased items from TV Furniture Direct from this website, or from any other place (Ebay, Amazon). We do not store or share any of our customers’ data with anyone other than for the purpose of fulfilling our seller’s obligations (eg. providing customer service, providing receipts, delivering orders, aftersales service and honouring any product guarantee or warranty).

Firstly. Thanks for visiting our website! We hope you found what you were looking for.
If you’re visiting our site, we will only collect anonymised data using various analytics programs (including Google analytics). We can only see what pages you’ve visited, where you found us and how long you spend on our site. We don’t tend to do much with this information – it’s more for our general information, we won’t use it to contact you or for any marketing purposes.
If you call us…
If you call our customer services number 0333 222 4026, your number will generally appear on our phone’s caller display. We don’t record our calls, but your telephone number may be held securely within our system for data analysis later on. There might be occasions when we need to call you back, but we will always check with you first.
If you call TV Furniture Direct we will NEVER take or discuss card or payment details over the phone. We cannot take orders over the phone, all orders are placed securely using PayPal.
Sometimes when you call, you might be letting us know that there’s been a problem with your order – maybe something hasn’t arrived, or something’s missing, or you just want to return it to us for a refund. In these instances, we will usually take either an order number, your name or delivery postcode to verify information that we already know about you (from when your order was placed). Occasionally, we might collect other details such as email address, alternative phone numbers or even sometimes alternative delivery addresses. Once we have collected these, they are held securely on our system. We will never share it with other companies for marketing purposes.

If you email our customer services email address email@example.com, or if you send a request using a form on our website, your email address will appear in the “from” field. We don’t store email addresses unless it is for the purpose of responding to your enquiry, or to keep you informed about the status of a delivery. We will never share it with other companies for marketing purposes.
If you place an order…
If you place an order, we will collect the following information from you:

- Telephone Number
- Email Address
Any personal data that is collected by us is solely used for the purpose of fulfilling your order. We don’t use email marketing software (although if you order through Amazon or Ebay they may contact you separately after your order has been placed – but that’s a different matter entirely – you should check out their separate Privacy Policies). We store all order data, but if we need to use it for reporting purposes, your private identifiable information (such as your name, address, telephone number and email address) is removed by us.
We will never pass on any of your details to any other companies for marketing purposes, and we won’t send marketing material to you.
Who Might We Share Information With?
Your information is held very securely in a file with access restrictions so only certain ‘necessary’ employees can view this information and ONLY for the purposes of fulfilling your order and the administration needed to legally register and tax your purchase.
